Transgender Day of RemembranceÌý(TDoR), also known as theÌýInternational Transgender Day of Remembrance, isÌýobservedÌýannually (from its inception) on November 20 as a day toÌýmemorializeÌýthose who have been murdered as a result ofÌýtransphobia.


It is a day to draw attention to the continued violence endured byÌýtransgenderÌýpeople not only in the United States but throughout the world.


This is a day set aside by the Transgender Community, for the Transgender Community, to honor and remember those who were viciously and brutally murdered in the past 12 months.
